Description location

Online Director responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating an online communication programs for Earthjustice. Develops a program includes an information management vbchoonta in adopting new technologies, or software, content management across lists of Web sites and email integration online with offline communications. Monitors the work of generating the Web Manager, Web and CRM online in implementing this program and coordinates with staff from all parts of the organization. Working in partnership with the communication and development team to grow and cultivate an online community of Earthjustices. Monitoring evaluates strategies online, make changes accordingly. Manages ongoing relationships with suppliers and key industry key events Earthjustice.

Main responsibilities

1. the Web site and list
Developing programs for online communication and online efforts with other government assistance programs for the needy Earthjustices;
Identify opportunities and implement strategies to reach goals related to the site a list of organizations such as the electronic traffic growth, visitor conversion mailing list deeper involvement and active visitor, fundraising.
Working with the communications team to develop and manage online campaigns and public service;
Work with development team list management, online fundraising, email-based Web and build a relationship;
Work with Marketing Manager to ensure that the Organization of its work to be presented to reflect your brand identity.
Consistently maintain and develop a Web site for a high level of functionality, aesthetic design and organization, maintaining an online presence in 2010 and the order.

2. evaluation
Use the Web site's traffic analysis to identify Web site content management and design changes that improve performance against defined goals such as converting a visitor to your email;
Work with development to analyze the data to set up and is appropriate for an online list management;
Evaluation of an online communication technologies and techniques to develop.

3 technology
Working with the team responsible for managing internal information and databases to ensure integration with online databases, both short term and long term;
Oversee the development and maintenance of online systems, including Drupal CMS Convio CRM;
Manage relationships with key suppliers for online communication and monitor use of the tools they provide.

4 manage
Responsible for the work of the Web Manager, Web producer and Manager of CRM online;
Project management related to the Internet, coordination team goals, and resources;
Responsible for development and growth of the Earthjustice Web site;
Responsible for creating and managing Web-related budget items and technology;
Represent industry events Earthjustice.

Personal requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably English, communications, environmental, scientific discipline, science or history.

Experience: 7 + years experience with using online communication to attract and keep the audience. Experience specifically with Web design and development; Drupal and Convio; Online communication initiatives, involving social media fundraising, writing projects, and marketing highly preferred. Team management experience.

Skills: broad understanding of Web technology, business environment and technology application. Interest in new technologies and methods to communicate with audiences online. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A strong eye for design. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others is critical. Experience applying technology to firms and non-profit organizations. Prior knowledge of database applications, Internet programming, Microsoft Office applications and graphic design. Knowledge of Convio software is a bonus. Strong familiarity with environmental problems and desire to protect the environment.
