Siachen fire kills the India officers

Two soldiers were injured when they tried to rescue officers on the night of Thursday, said a spokesman for the army.

An investigation has been ordered in how he started the fire, he added.

Siachen limited portions of disputed Kashmir administered by Pakistan and India and is regarded as the highest battlefield in the world.

The India believes that the glacier is fundamental, strategic and diplomatic value.

The two countries agreed an agreement of the ceasefire on the Siachen glacier in 2003, but thousands of soldiers are deployed in the region.
