Job Summary: online community Coordinator, Manager, online communities, will help you manage online community platform a my4-H, in support of youth development positive online for 4-H also adapter runs. closely with Director, digital marketing, enrollment staff, access to ensure a smooth management and integration across platforms. Online communities coordinator creates content for the site and implement works with adult educators and youth leaders, 4-H community platform grow my4-H launched recently. The adapter be used a primary pipeline between community users and the National Council of 4-h. moderate platform community: work with a team of 4-H to create, moderate control communities within my4-H platform. Ensure the safety of youth within the platform by enforcing guidelines efficiently, strict moderation policy. Work with educators, volunteers and employees throughout the country to identify and create content for communities based on different interests within the platform. Also, working together with development resources to plan effectively for future needs. Provide customer service point person within an online community and provide regular training for users of my4-H platform. Travel 10%-20%, and occasional weekend work required.
Skills required: this is a great opportunity for the individual who enjoys practicing proactive calls through the new media has demonstrated experience in building online communities by creating engaging content regularly. A person is passionate about developing the potential of youth throughout the system 4-H excel in this role. Two to three years of proven enterprise social networking, hands-on experience, developing and implementing programs for non-profit organization or corporation that generated significant awareness with online communities. Two to three years of general communication or online media experience. Prior experience in developing a successful online community (preferred metrics). Demonstrable knowledge of social media best practices, emerging technologies, trends and tactics designed to achieve corporate objectives and engagement. Purpose-driven multi-tasker, Becky in setting priorities of tasks, project time management skills and strong. Work effectively with cross-functional teams, with external partners to assimilate information, formulate proposals. Excellent verbal, written communication. Bachelors degree in marketing communications or related field.
Desired skills: skills videos, blogs, journalism. Knowledge management platform Drupal, or similar. Developing mobile applications and mobile websites. Ability to guide others to develop and execute social media communication strategies. Understanding of practices and safety and compliance of COPA. Positive experience of youth development (PYD) initiatives. Experience working in or with nonprofit organizations. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, geographically disparate.
