Information graphics. I love her.
Nothing tells the story better than with colorful, easy-to-read images, that few important, that justify the data points, the senses. In fact, said over a year I, that "information graphics new white papers." "Our media consumption diet has shifted from steaks to Shish Kabob".
Information graphics are always the norm - the medium is at risk, get saturated
In recent times, I started to see, this once early adopter medium saturated intact. We start to see, information graphics for every topic, and I get sent to me as part of press releases, information graphics or to information graphics of your CV on request. Heck, there is even an infographic of infographics on HuffPo and another on my friend Scott's website Laughing Squid. In fact, there are more than 570,000 counts of infographic images on Google, and even a Flickr pool has over 5000 images.
How else could she develop?
Do you think we. While more data emerges, we provide a blend of Shish Kabob consumables, and certainly we must continue to data presentable (short form content) and steaks (long form). Now, she could interactively, so how you on them then display additional information and the nested data can fortify the see how Newsweek does this for data on the world's best countries, or tracked such as Forbes migrations in the United States or how national geographic levels on infographics on how we quickly approaching 7 billion people on earth are.
I like what I think fact, Joe Chernov at Eloqua, he makes some of the most interesting things in this space, if it, he created a Probook, the elements of the stories, data, graphics, marketing in new media in a deeper format. As one of our customers (disclosure), I worked on this project with Joe and Jess3, which popularized this medium so much so that many other companies Jess3 be emulated. I am to see me, as they continue to advance the medium.
If you some interesting see developments of infographics (3D, interactive, digital books, video), please leave a comment and shout out of these new projects, we will give them some visibility.
Infographics are useful so they need to develop.
