CHARLESTON, WV Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, announced today that be Office $2,789,476 in justice assistance grant (JAG) program fund 83 (83) projects has awarded. This appropriation is intended to support State authorities, local units of Government and private non-profit agencies in the implementation of certain programmes offer a high probability of improving the functioning of the criminal justice system. Special was the focus of consideration and nationwide projects that try, create and/or maintain jobs in the criminal justice system in West Virginia.
These funds are provided by the US Department of Justice, Bureau of justice assistance and are from the West Virginia Division of Justice and managed community services (DJCS).
