Chavez returns after chemotherapy

Hugo Chávez says he is having more chemotherapy, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has returned home after a first round of treatment for cancer in Cuba.

"I come back in a better position I was when I left," President Chavez said that he left the plane in Caracas.

He said he had a week of chemotherapy, and doctors not found malignant cells. President Chávez had surgery twice last month - once you remove an abscess, and another to remove a cancerous tumor.

It has been in power since 1999 and currently running for a third term in 2012.

Before going to Cuba President Chavez he delegated some of his powers to Ministers but calls resisted to hand over all powers during his absence.

It has not given precise details that the tumor was found, only that he underwent surgery in the pelvic region.

The President prepares for more chemotherapy, with some reports saying that he could undergo treatment in Brazil.
