To quote a popular frog, it's not easy being green. Fortunately, for the environmentalist oppressed, there are those inspiring models that make being green seems the easiest option-Zac Goldsmith, Al Gore, the Jolly Green Giant sweetcorn-flogging. Heroes all, really.
Thus you can imagine how pleased we were listening to the best of them all, Captain Planet is soon to return to our screens in a deal of live action movie with all types of extreme weather events.
For those of you unaware of the best eco-warrior Cartoon Network, Captain Planet debut in 1990 with the captivating, "Captain Planet, he is a hero. Music theme will bring pollution to zero ".

Our admittedly sketchy memory of the series, we are sure that about half of the episodes were spent in consoling the guy understandably sad that had chosen the ring of heart and assuring him that his "powers" were a vital part of the entire operation, before sniggering behind their hands.
Anyway, Hollywood Royalty is out in force with producers Don Murphy and Susan Montford, fresh supervision testosterone-fest Transformers: Dark side of the Moon, aboard a "series of spectacular movies."
Of course, the climate debate has evolved since the early 90, CP so, as we like to call it, you must tackle pollution not only, but a series of extreme weather events. Heck, it will probably reach a successor to the Kyoto Protocol while he is in it.
